Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove hood primary latch release cable handle. Refer to Hood Primary Latch  Release Cable Handle Replacement.
  2. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement
  3. Remove the radiator grille support. Refer to Radiator Grille Reinforcement Support Replacement.
  4. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement.

Hood Primary Latch Release Cable

Procedure

To release the hood primary latch release cable, unhook from hood primary and secondary latch.
