Preliminary Procedure

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the tail lamps. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement.

  1. Rear Bumper Fascia Retainer (Qty: 2)
  2. Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (Qty: 6) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten 2.5 N·m (23 lb in)

  1. Rear Bumper Fascia

Procedure

  1. Pull the rear bumper fascia rearwards at the front edge to load the three clips on the inboard fascia guides (under the tail lamp position)
  2. Release the   clips with an suitable tool
  3. Continue to pull the rear bumper fascia rearwards until the outer edges pop outboard.
  4. Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed
  5. Remove the rear bumper fascia.
  6. Transfer parts as needed.
