Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle full height. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the front compartment splash shield. Refer to Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement.

  1. Rotate the drive belt tensioner bolt (2) clockwise.
  2. Remove the drive belt (1) while pulling the drive belt tensioner by a suitable tool (3).

Installation Procedure

  1. Rotate the drive belt tensioner bolt (2) clockwise.
  2. Install the drive belt (1) while pulling the tensioner by a suitable tool (3).
  3. Rotate the tensioner counterclockwise to tension the belt drive belt (2)
  4. Install the front compartment splash shield. Refer to Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement.
  5. Lower the vehicle full height. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

Engine Mount Replacement

  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner   Assembly Replacement.
  2. Support the engine. Install a suitable engine lifting device. Install a suitable cable at the 3 engine lift brackets and at the engine lifting device.
  1. Engine Mount Bolt (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten 62 N·m (46 lb ft)

  1. Engine Mount Bracket Bolt (Qty: 3)

Note: Use only NEW bolts.

Tighten 50 N·m + 60°-75° (37 lb ft + 60°-75°)

  1. Engine Mount Nut

Tighten 62 N·m (46 lb ft)
